You are cordially invited to join us for the Launch of National Science Week in South Australia.
We are delighted and honoured to have Her Excellency the Honorable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia, attend this function. She will officially launch National Science Week SA and the exciting program of events taking place throughout South Australia in August.
We will also be joined by suburban wildlife warrior Bluegum Bill and the team from Animals Anonymous, as they provide an entertaining performance about the wildlife you might find in your garden. Along the way, get up close to some of the awesome animals that make Australia home.
Refreshments will follow the formal proceedings.
Invited guests to this function include national and state grant recipients; members of the SA National Science Week Coordinating Committee; members of the Inspiring SA Steering Committee and Community of Practice; Science Alive exhibitors; and key stakeholders in the science engagement and science communication sectors.
